26th of August … beach and sun all the time … but today nothing like that at all ;-). We're heading to the Mercantour … around Tende … .
Mercantour… enchanted name… for an enchanted place. The "Mercantour National Park is a jewel of preserved nature, just one hour away from the mediterranean sea. It has peaks reaching over 3000 m, many glacial lakes and six valleys, each with its unique character …". We walked until the "Lac des grenouilles" "Frogs' lake" … air and space …
"Musée des Merveilles" "Museum of Wonders" … Archeology and Ethnology … so interesting ! 5000 years history of engravings explained and shown of the most beautiful ones in a very high technical museum.
