We were still sleeping, but Câu Phi and Mama are already up long time ago. They profit to do some shopping and to make a round in Pont L'Évêque, a charming small village, just 5 minutes away from the cottage by car.
Mama went to buy a piece of "Marseille soap" for a friend … and then to stare at Late Middle Ages timbered houses. She loves them!
After lunch, we made a round in the private domain (Mama hasn't been here since 15 years!)… to see all the beautiful villas. Like this, times past quicker while waiting for Aba.
As he had to work on Friday, he brought us on Thursday, helped cleaning (what a great Aba!) and went then back home in the evening. On the highway, it's only about two hours away.
Youpi, Aba is back!!! He joined us by bicycle! What an intelligent idea! Hop! In the car heading to Trouville and Deauville, breathing fresh sea-air …. woooha!
Isn't it beautiful! So much space … that's a change to the crowded RERs in Paris!
Mmmmh, yummy … "Douillons" are so tasty. A pastery speciality … whole-baked apple in finest paste. Delicious! Thank you LN for this good tip!
As you can see, we're on the side of Deauville now. "General Motto" of Deauville "M'as-tu vu?" "Did you see me?" Yeah, we did! Luxury, polo, cars, golf … pfffff.
It's beach-time now … walk on the famous wooden boards …
and back to Trouville …
